Privacy Policy

YNAB Reconciliation (“we”, “us”, “our”) lets you upload two CSV‑style registers, runs a one‑time matching algorithm, shows the results, and immediately deletes the uploaded files. We do not sell anything, we do not run ads, and we do not send marketing email. This notice explains what little information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
1. What we collect and why

We do not create user accounts, store cookies unrelated to analytics, or request names, emails, or payment details.
2. Cookies and Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 with IP‑anonymization turned on, strictly for page‑view statistics. Google sets first‑party cookies (for example, _ga) to tell one visit from another. Advertising features, demographic reports, and Google Signals are disabled.
If you prefer not to be measured:
- Install the Google Analytics Opt‑out Browser Add‑on
- Block or delete
_gacookies in your browser
The site will still work.
3. California – CCPA / CPRA
We do not “sell” or “share” personal information as those terms are defined in California law, nor do we use cross‑context behavioral advertising.

Send requests to robert@piazzafam.com. We will verify the request via your IP address and user‑agent combination and respond within 45 days.
4. CalOPPA – Do Not Track
Browsers can send a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because Google Analytics ignores DNT, we instead honor the opt‑out methods described in section 2.
5. GDPR notice (EU / UK visitors)
We do not actively market to individuals in the EEA or UK, and the service is hosted in the United States. If you nevertheless use the site:
- Legal bases – Legitimate interest (site analytics and security) and Performance of a contract (processing the files you voluntarily upload).
- International transfers – Your IP address is sent to the United States where our servers and Google’s analytics servers are located.
- Rights – Access, erasure, restriction, and objection. Contact robert@piazzafam.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Because we do not target the EU and process only minimal data, Article 27 representation is not required.
6. Children’s privacy
The service is not directed to children under 13 and we knowingly collect no data from them. If you believe a child has provided data, email robert@piazzafam.com and we will delete it promptly.
7. Security
All traffic is encrypted via HTTPS. Uploaded files never touch disk. Still, no internet transmission is perfectly secure, so use the service at your own risk.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Effective date” at the top will change, and a banner will appear on the site for at least 30 days after any material change.
